| As part of Red Gate Gallery's 20th Anniversary celebration, "20 Years - Two Generations of Artists at Red Gate" will open in Shanghai at island6 Arts Center on September 9, 2011 (with a preview on September 6).
Since opening its doors at the Dongbianmen Ming Dynasty Watchtower in 1991, Red Gate has been recognized as a pioneer, deeply engaged in the promotion of the Chinese contemporary art. Over the two decades, Red Gate has exhibited the best of contemporary Chinese art and is proud to witness the maturation of Red Gate artists, many of whom have been exhibiting with the gallery for almost two decades.
