Exir Kamalabadi
Exir Kamalabadi is a multicultural spirit from a Chinese-Iranian-American background, growing up entirely in Shanghai. Since toddlerhood, Exir has learned 3 languages (English, Mandarin and Farsi) meaning he is thrice as illiterate as any monolingual native speaker. He enjoys world literature and finds pleasure in comparing different cultures. Exir's true passion is Theater and since the age of 16, has been active member of the Shanghai English-language theatre scene serving as an actor, director, stage manager and producer. As an art lover who enjoys live performances and films as well as traditional visual arts, he sees in island6's artistic philosophy a fascinating balance.
Exir has joined the island6 Arts Center as a volunteer in the Spring of 2012.
