| Straight out of 1930s Shanghai come picturesque visions of enchanting flappers, sinful pleasures, and ultimate decadence. The heaving, pulsing city was reigned over by abundance. Ritzy restaurants, fancy jazz clubs and smoky opium dens were filled with glamor girls in rich fabrics and dazzling jewels. For island6's 60th exhibition, the artists are opting for grandiosity.
