Kerry Ann Lee

Kerry Ann Lee (b. 1979) is a mix media artist from Wellington, New Zealand.
Her works explores the mutability and subversive nature of cross-cultural identity formation in urban spaces.Having recently completed work responding to New York’s Chinatown, Lee’s work as artist-in-residence at Island6 Shanghai investigates the complexities and potential for material transform life in the Chinese city. Her current series, ‘Electric Warrior’ gives shape to the restless and changing structures of Shanghai.

Kerry Ann Lee is in island6 Shanghai as part of the Wellington Asia Residency Exchange Programme, an initiative developed by Asia New Zealand Foundation and Wellington City Council, New Zealand)
