What is it with mankind and their guns? Is it an instinctive need for a man to show his worth in steel machinery and gunpowder? Even today, a man will show his ‘guns’ to please the ladies and hopefully find a mate for the night. Since when has weaponry become a sign of sex appeal? Has intimidation and power become such a ritualistic foreplay that sex mates surrender willingly to the thrill of life-threatening artillery?
The boy shows just this – even at his age, young men know how to get attention. Like in fireworks, gunpowder works its magic on women, and they’ll all be a flutter. And swiftly, boys will turn into young men with the clench of the trigger. [Jack Mur]
