In a country of millions, law and order must be mercilessly kept. Bureaucrats, policemen, teachers, security guards and other authority figures stand with arms firmly crossed keep strict tabs on all aspects of social behavior. The effects of constant monitoring and relentless censorship can be prodigious. Just like the baby elephant whose little leg was chained to a huge log and grew up unaware that its size had long ago outstripped that of the log, we grow cautious and learn by instinct to ourselves in check. And yet, looking at the two yelling, threatening cops, we realise how comically ineffectual their bluster and bravado really is. As we come to the gradual realisation that their barks are far worse than their bites, we learn to smile serenely at the huffing and puffing, secure in the knowledge that fear is a cage ours minds can break easily.
