Dear Diary... today my teacher told me to write about something I lost. I first thought of my cap, a pink Hello Kitty one that my mom bought for my 9th birthday. I was sad when I left it on the bus. Then I thought of my wallet, with my life savings of RMB200. Boy, was Mom mad! Next I thought of the house keys. I'm sure they're still in my bag somewhere! (But where...?) But the biggest thing I've lost is Daddy's big gold watch. Tian Tian and I were playing with it, cos it's so pretty, but then Tian carried it somewhere and now we can't find it and Daddy says he will stop being mad at me only if I find it. So of all the things I've lost, the one I want to get back most of all is Daddy's watch. Because if I can get his watch back, maybe then Daddy will bring Tian back too, and we both won’t feel lost anymore. [Loo Ching Ling 吕晶琳] |
