Nicolas Grefenstette (b. Tours, France 1988) is a recent graduate from University College London (UCL), with a BA (Hons.) in Human Geography. The aim for such a choice was to understand the world better, a goal ultimately and unconditionally achieved by joining the team at island6.
An avid admirer of everything electronic (art, music, household appliances...), Nicolas interrupted his position as a management consultant in Shanghai to fully devote his electronic juices to the Liu Dao collective in the Spring of 2012. As a Creative Consultant, Nico's responsibilities range from PR/Marketing to fixing lights from a tall and wobbly ladder; and most importantly, avidly and delightfully slashing old paintings with a butcher's knife.
Nicolas has since left for grad school in France and the UK, armed with a rucksack full of new experiences and ireverent Chinese phrases.
Nicolas was a proud volunteer at island6.
