"Cheek By Jowl" (鱼影团团)
"Cheek By Jowl" by island6 Art Collective (Liu Dao)
// BLURB //
In an ancient pond surrounded by whispering willows, a school of koi swam, each a living LED brushstroke closely tightly packed in a linen masterpiece. Their scales held the palette of a hidden artist, reflecting the wisdom of ages. Their lives, like fleeting poems, wrote tales on the water's surface, echoing the eternal flow of time.
Each day the school of koi swam in circles and random patterns with no obvious purpose or reason. Among them, a wise elder moved with silent wisdom, his scales telling tales of centuries. A young koi sought purpose, and the sage conveyed through gentle currents—a dance without destination, a pixelated canvas echoing the perpetual stream of time.
When it comes to the concept of time, the only thing we have for certain is that it never ceases, naturally one would assume constant movement forward is the only solution. Existence is a continuous, purposeful journey rather than a predetermined endpoint. It doesn’t matter where we are going as long as we never stop swimming forward.
The young koi, enlightened, joined the silent ballet, and the pond embraced their timeless performance, a philosophical dance beneath the willows' timeless gaze.
