Manels Favre is a classically trained French/Swiss/Belgian composer who started to play the violin at the age of four, going on to study at the Royal Academy in Brussels. In 1989 he moved to France and learned to play guitar and piano and studied musicology at the University of Poitier before moving to Toulouse to compose music for film and advertising. His experience goes from sound engineering during festivals (Alternative Arts Festival Zagreb, Croatia; Contemporary Art Fest, Belgium; La Lune Zellée, France…) to theatre, dance music and art (exhibition Urban Lust, Automata)
Along with Wu Yandan, they form the main pillar of the collective Liu Dao.
