"Dignity of the Fuel" (汽油的尊严)
"Dignity of the Fuel" by island6 Art Collective (Liu Dao)
// BLURB //
If you’re a regular at gas stations, you should be (ideally) no stranger to the little equipment called “Vapor Recovery” installed on the gas pump: recovering the vapors of gasoline or other fuels, so that they do not escape into the atmosphere. Now this is often required by law to be done at every filling station (depending on country and region) in order to reduce noxious and potentially explosive fumes. If you’re still reading, then I would like to invite you to contemplate this little procedure next time when you’re stopping to feed your drive somewhere on this big earth. For me, the excitement out of getting ready for the next long ride is just not enough to stimulate my adrenaline. I would also like to think of the amount of toxic particles I have singularly prevented to be emitted by my car (statistics show without the Vapor Recovery, there would have been double the volume of car air waste emissions when driving). This little knowledge just inevitably falls to be side by side and empowers the fuel that boosts my journey. Peace and Love.
