"Surprise, Surprise!(惊喜, 惊喜!)

All successful missions are similar, but the bad ones are terrible in different ways. The Grand Invasion was planned meticulously except for one tiny detail - the exact time. Roughly 65million years ago, when dinosaurs were destroyed by a giant meteor, the mission had to be canceled because there was no one left to witness the surprise. Later on, before the first civilizations appeared, invading a bunch of monkeys that only knew how to paint in caves, and had no guns to resist proved to be even less of an entertaining choice. It had to wait until the first empires appeared, but there was a chance that it would seem more like a return of the Gods rather than a strategically planned attack. Only when the Chinese civilization had risen was it finally worth it, but the time wasn’t right as it didn’t match the end of Mayan calendar. But once the time was ripe, the mission proved to be a complete fiasco. Not because the surprise was already revealed to everyone in Hollywood films, but because virtual reality seemed to take over the planet already. Who’d want to invade such a place anyway?
