In the timeless wisdom of Heraclitus, we find echoes of this eternal truth. The Greek philosopher famously stated, “It is not possible to step twice into the same river...it scatters and again comes together, and approaches and recedes”. In a world governed by the immutable laws of change, Heraclitus reminds us that all things are in a state of flux, and our attempts to resist the passage of time are ultimately futile. Thus, we are called to heed the wisdom of the ages, embracing the present moment and surrendering to the eternal being of time. In doing so, we find solace that while time shapes our journey, our perception of the present defines our reality. So, swim onward.
